Lord, I pray you would help Nicie and Scott as they go through the problems they are going through this week. They are my 2 closest friends, and I am truly sad that their car died, and Scott lost his job.

Lord, I feel you pulling at my heart somehow. Please Tell me what you are calling me to do!

I have read that the number of Americans who identify themselves as Christians has decreased over the past few years. That is tragic! Why would anyone reject the promises of God?

Lord, I don't know what the future holds for me, but I know you do, so I'm ready for whatever you have in store for me!

As we prepare to celebrate Easter, let's not forget what it's all about: The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus! Without that, we have no hope of salvation! Thank you Jesus for dying for me!

Isn't it wonderful how God provides something at the exact time you need it? Lord, I thank you for providing Nicie for the money she needed! I know it was your doing!

Lord, I am so thankful that the friendship between Nicie and Myself was restored after the disagreement we had last week. She has been the best friend I've ever had, and I don't know what I'd do if I lost her.

Isn't it exciting that you can read a verse in the bible one day, it will mean one thing to you, and the next time you read it, it means something else? God's Word is living, always there to help you, depending on your needs and circumstances.

How can a person look at all of Nature and not believe in God?

I am so amazed at how Job handled his situation. He lost his Kids and his possessions, and his friends gave him a hard time, but he never lost his faith in God. I try to be lile that, but it's not easy!

Here are some prayer requests:

For the people of Haiti as they recover from the earthquake

For my friend Nicie's Sister Danette, as she faces raising her newborn Son on her own.

For my friend Cathy as she faces surgery

For all my family members who are having health problems

My resolutions this year, as far as my relationship with God are:

Pray harder, with more confidence that His will be done

Read my Bible more

Try to believe in myself more

Be good to people

Continue to be a good friend, make new ones.

Completely trust Him with my life

As we get close to Christmas, A Question for you, my readers:

What would you have done of you were one of the shepherds that the angel announced the birth of Jesus to? Would you have freaked out, or would you have been excited, and listened? I'd like to think that I'd be a bit shocked, but still have listened.

Patience is a hard thing to maintain. Just remember that things only happen when God says it's time for them to happen! I've learned that the hard way!

If Jesus can forgive us of our sins, why can't we forgive others for much lesser transgressions?

Some things I've learned the past few days:

There are no totally good or totally evil people

God put everyone here for a reason, no one's life is better or lessen then anyone else's

Life's precious

People, tell all your family and friends how much you love them, the next time you talk to them may be the last time.

-God Wants all of you, 100%, nothing less is acceptable!

Lord, please forgive me for straying away from you and getting my mind stuck on worldly things like finding someone. Please help me keep you number one in my life!

Dear Lord, please watch over Nicie and her Family as they mourn the loss of her sister's Husband. We don't really need to know why he took his life, but what matters is that there's a Mom and Dad that have lost their Son, A wife has lost her husband, and there is an unborn child that will never know her father.
