John 15:5 "Apart from me, you can do nothing"
The more I read that piece of scripture, the more I realize how true it is! I can only imagine how happy God is when we call on him, just like a real life parent.

More relief for hurricane victims
For my 2 sister, Lori and Julie, and their families to come to know Christ.

God wants us to call on Him in ALL of our ways. He wants us to turn to Him in all of our decisions.
Some people think that He doesn't have time to care about what we choose to eat, or where we choose to go to work, or who we spend time with. But that is so untrue.
He has time to care about every little detail of our lives. Our smallest concerns concern Him. Even with all of the people calling out to Him right now in the aftermath of the hurricane, He has time for my smallest concern.
We often think of God as human, being limited to how much He can physically do. But He is NOT human. He can deal with alllllll of His creation! He is ALMIGHTY GOD! He is POWERFUL! He is ABLE! :)
